I am looking forward to go and watch this drama/musical production. I finished a three year drama diploma at this college and much of my creativity came from studying there and being involved in the performing arts. For my final year I had to write, produce and direct and feature in my own play. It was a great success, but I know this is going to be better, because this production has an original score (songs) and that on its own is a major achievement! I have heard a rumour of even a bollywood style song in the mix so it’s going to be a great event!
I love the performing arts and we have so much talent in South-Africa. It is always a pity that the performing arts generally aren’t that well supported in South-Africa. People only go watch big shows or international singers. I remember how hard it always was to get people to come to our productions in my years of drama training. It is running over a few days so I encourage people to go and watch and experience something different! (I am doing production photography for the show.)
